The one-mile Langhorne Speedway oval track was a premier racing venue for many years before it was bulldozed in 1971 in order to build a shopping center.
Originally a circular dirt track, it held its first event on June 12, 1926. It was paved and reshaped after the 1964 season. The final checkered flag fell on October 17, 1971.
