This cafe was featured in the opening scene of the 1994 movie "Natural Born Killers" starring Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis.
The scene involves Mickey (Harrelson) ordering a slice of key lime pie, while his girlfriend Mallory (Lewis) dances to music on the jukebox. A local redneck starts flirting with Mallory, which leads to a violent bloodbath.
The movie was directed by Oliver Stone and was based on a screenplay written by Quentin Tarantino.
